Final Sale Policy
All sales made through Rufus Watson Books LLC (“Company”, “we”, “our”) via www.rufuswatsonbooks.com (“the Site”) are final. Once a package has been shipped and has left our possession, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the product.
Order Cancellations
Customers may request to cancel their order by contacting us via email at info@rufuswatsonbooks.com within 24 hours of placing the order. However, we do not guarantee that cancellation requests will be received, reviewed, or approved before the order is processed. Once an order has been processed, no cancellations, returns, or refunds will be granted.
Damaged Items
If a package arrives damaged, the customer must submit photographic evidence of both the damaged package and the item within 3 business days of delivery by emailing info@rufuswatsonbooks.com. A replacement item may be sent at our sole discretion. No monetary refunds will be issued for damaged items. Limited quantity offers, special edition books, or closeout items are not guaranteed for reshipment or replacement. All such purchases are final sale.
Shipping Insurance & Claims
All packages are shipped with insurance. It is the customer’s responsibility to initiate and complete any insurance claim directly with the shipping provider using the tracking number provided at the time of shipment. Rufus Watson Books LLC does not file insurance claims on behalf of customers and assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once shipped.
Third-Party Purchases
If a product is purchased through a third-party vendor, distributor, wholesaler, or marketplace, the customer must address any refund, return, or replacement requests directly through the applicable merchant or platform. Rufus Watson Books LLC will not process refunds or returns for items sold by or through third-party channels.

Final Sale for Services
All service-based offerings—including but not limited to manuscript critiques, formatting, paid reviews, and publishing assistance—are non-refundable once work has begun or the service has been delivered, regardless of outcome or satisfaction with the feedback received. These services are creative, time-based, and subjective in nature. Refunds will not be issued due to disagreement with critique content, review tone, or any evaluation provided as part of the service.

Chargebacks and Disputed Payments
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated through your bank or payment processor after services have been rendered, you will be invoiced directly for the full amount of the original transaction, plus a $5 processing fee. This invoice is due within 24 hours of issue.
Failure to resolve the outstanding balance within the allotted time may result in legal action, collections activity, or other efforts necessary to recover the owed fees.
We reserve the right to pursue recovery of all service fees, including any additional costs associated with the chargeback, transaction fees, or collection processes.
